New Voice Types, Accents, and Improved Singing Voice
If a band-themed or music-focused pack is in development for The Sims 4, it would be a great opportunity to improve and expand the voice system for sims in basegame. Currently, adult Sims only have 3 voice types, and they tend to sound repetitive over time. I’d like to suggest the following additions to enhance immersion and variety:
New Voice Types – Add at least 2–3 new voice options for both male and female adult sims to increase diversity and reduce repetition in sim interactions.
Accents – Introduce 2–3 distinct accents (e.g., British, Afro-American, Australian, etc.) that players can apply to their sims’ voices, making each character feel more unique.
Singing Voice Matching – Currently, all Sims use the same singing voice regardless of their actual speaking voice, which breaks immersion. It would be amazing if singing voices could reflect or at least better match the Sim’s chosen voice type.
