Please update LoveStruck Romance Attraction! It's exhausting

I usually don't have any complaints about packs—I own every single one, even the kits! But Lovestruck has been a bit of a challenge for me. The concept is wonderful, but constantly managing the romance dynamics feels a little overwhelming. I think what could really make it shine is an aspiration or trait (maybe in the reward store) that lets Sims keep their romance dynamic intact after reaching the max. I’ve unlocked every romance aspiration, but it’s still tricky!

Or, even having the option to turn off romance dynamics while keeping all the other fun features would be a dream.

Pretty please, Sims team!

I play rotation between several households. I've noticed when I switch between families, romance tanks in the households I'm not currently playing. Anyone else notice this?

I just got LS and I agree; managing this is a bit of a chore! My current workaround is to have my couple in a club together with romance as a club activity, then keep them in a gathering whenever they're home together. They will work in the romance socials themselves while you focus on the skill building or what have you

  • I just wanted to reiterate this: If I don't romance my partner every single day, their romance goes down. I go to sleep with them very satisfied, but just sleeping through the night and going to work immediately deteriorates it. Also, I think all interactions (not just romantic) should work. I had them play chess, but this does nothing for the romance satisfaction.

Side note: having more sentiments for group or partner activities, such as chess, working out, karaoke, basketball, etc., would be nice. Similar to "cooking together."

I think you can get those activities to work towards romance if you set a date. So instead of just going to a bar to play karaoke together (as friends do), you could set a bar date. They get to date and work on their romance and sing karaoke at the same time.

I think the romance bar going down too fast is a bug, or maybe sims aren't compatible enough. I played a newly created sim couple when Lovestruck was released and that relationship didn't seem to deteriorate as fast as the one for a new sim couple I am currently playing. They woohooed a lot but still had time to pursue other interests and skills.

This is why I can only play this game with cheats enabled lol.

I totally agree. I have 2 couples with twin infants. It's nearly impossible to take care of the babies needs and maintain the romance between my sims couples. I get the realism but it's too much.
