Sewing/Quilting Pack PLEASE

I would LOVE a new sewing hobby/skill for the game.

  • Ability to both mend clothes and also create new pieces from "patterns"
  • Multi step menu similar to Crystal Creations.
  • Choose a pattern (clothing, quilt, other decor item like a pillow or window curtain, pet bed)
  • Choose fabric(s)
  • Choose embellishments
  • For clothes, obviously you'd want to be able to add to wardrobe and wear.
  • For quilts, it would be amazing to be able to hang them as wall art or put them on a bed or sofa.
  • Ability to sell all creations
  • Heirloom eligible
  • Potential collab with fabric and pattern designers

I'd really like to see a LOT of customization options for patterns and fabrics (i was so disappointed by the lack of options in the Pottery skill tbh)

  • i made something similar in which i think it can be shared in here but it also mentioned creating clothes (i just reported my idea in hope it can be shared here rather than sending links)

i think it should go as a Stuff Pack in my opinion

Yes, I am taking a clothing alteration course IRL and it would be great to contribute to the upcyling/eco-friendly environments with Electronic Arts could provide a sewing/sewing kit/sewing machine hobby or stuff pack.

  • I was just imaging a quilting kit recently! I was thinking about making quilts that can be draped on couches or put on beds. Maybe coats, wall hangings, rugs, baby play mats, cushions, picnic mats, wall hangings.

Turning quilts into clothing. It'd be fun to have a quilting bee where sims could work on one together too.

Up cycling would be cool too. Taking clothes and reshaping or something though I'd imagine that would be complicated.

I would definitely love a sewing kit.

Yeah I think Stuff Pack would be ideal - I don't think they'd do a whole built out skill in a Kit.
