Sims 4 oversights in 2025

I like all these ideas and hope the team sees them in feedback.

Heterochromia is possible but there is a reason animals have it and humans don't.

Reason 1 is that humans basically never have heterochromia to begin with. But the main reason is that they were not designed to have it and thus the game doesn't "support" it, while animals WERE designed to have it and the game *does*.

Heterochromia would require finding a new place on the sim's texture to put a secondary eye colour, as all CAS texture have to fit on an individual Sim's texture sheet. Since many CAS items have textures that bleed out of the areas they're supposed to stay in, I don't think even a single spot on the texture map is free. Unless they completely change the way CAS items use textures, I can't see it happening, unfortunately :( 

I do wish aliens and mermaids had more going on. They seem underbaked compared to other occults. 

TenebrousGloom​ Intern_Waffle_64​  I wonder if that means we couldn't even have it as pre made preset heterochromia eyes similar to dyed hair, which we can't customize but still have it. 

It's not about customisation. There's only space on the texture sheet for a single eye, and the texture gets copied to both of a sim's eyes.
Modders have made heterochromia CC  by using the texture space for accessories, but that causes conflicts with the accessories, so that couldn't be implemented officially.

I would love it if features from older packs were updated, but I guess pack refreshes aren't very profitable or else there would have been more of them. I wonder if there will be any plant sim content in the upcoming pack. It seems appropriate for the theme.

Secret underwater world for mermaids sounds great.

Heterochromia is rare, affecting only 1% of the population but I'd like to be able to have it in the Sims if they can achieve it. My dad had rare Complete Heterochromia, with one blue iris and one green iris it so whenever I see a request for it (and we've had a lot over the years) I always add my support. 

Well so that means no complete heterochromia for us :(( We kinda of have central heterochromia with that green eye (and we need more). But what about sectorial heterochtomia? It could be the same in both eyes even if it doesn't exist irl, at least we'd have a chance to get it.
