Suggestions - Stair railings changes

I know I'm not the first and probably won't be the last, but I was wondering if there was a way to suggest a small change to how stair railings work.
I was thinking about how The Sims 3 handled stair railings, namely, giving the user the ability to decide whether to automatically place railings and more importantly the ability to only place railings on one side of the stairs.
I'm no expert, but I don't think it's a very difficult change.
Is there any chance this could be implemented in the future? 😊

    I'd like to add, "Me, too" to this request. It's very jarring to see one side of the railing showing through to the adjacent room, or even outside the building. Thank you.

    Same here, it sometimes clips through stuff and I'd really just want the railing on one side. 

    While we are talking about railings, it would be nice if sims with certain traits can slide down the railing of stairs that go straight. (with clumsy ones likely to fall off when they try.)
