Hmm... Very ambitious ideas. I think I'll leave a comment on these.
- Not a believer in zodiac affecting personality still, but I think such a system is interesting and have traits being randomized based on the sign would be fun too.
- Creating sims through face and voice is challenging, but it has been tackled before by other developers (Nintendo Miis are one example). Sometimes it hasn't come out well though...
Generating new sims is there to make the world seem bigger than it is. If you are only going to see the same faces in San Myshuno, the city illusion is ruined. Yeah, I have created about over 1,000 sims, so for me, the idea is somewhat appealing. - I'm fine with the current life stages. My fear is that if a new life stage with new height is added, they won't be compatible with older packs much. That's why I've been against the pre-teen life stage.
- Yeah, The Sims 2 was great... But now the system has been so built in that it'd be difficult to change everything without breaking everything. I do wish the old The Sims 4 memory system back though...
- The idea sounds annoying if it's always going to be happening, but ok. The first person mode isn't always used by players.
- With open world, rabbit holes are more understandable. I do... kind of agree with the idea of more active careers... Yet... controlling multiple sims at different places will be difficult...
- More animations then... Closets and wardrobes will need an inside look. Details are always welcome though.
- Society ages then... Interesting... Will require a lot of work so sims don't whip out their cell phones in the medieval times, but... Hmm...
- Build mode could be improved indeed... The tile system will need heavy work though, as I feel that it's a system they built upon... And Japanese shrines are a dangerous subject unfortunately. There was a controversy with Snowy Escape where South Korea players found some elements offensive (bowing at shrines and rising sun kimono).
- Actually, yeah, not all bookshelves should have the same books! More variety to books in each lot!
So yeah, some great ideas, some difficult ideas...
