Cleaning is very cozy, and the degradation of the house’s condition, whether due to use or the passage of time, is what I find the most fun. This should be rethought to enhance the life mode gamification.
A new interface could:
Display the current state of the house, while keeping a visual that matches the house.
Allow choosing solutions that are consistent with the storytelling of our Sims’ lives.
Set score objectives to earn a bonus for successful cleaning.
No more micromanagement: each Sim could be automatically assigned a role, with their own action frequency.
All of this with endless replayability.
A feature similar to clubs would be interesting: the entire household would be included, each with a defined role, to perform a deep, impactful cleaning action, generating significant bonuses for the household.

This would be a good option. Maybe add dishes to the dishwasher and then start the wash cycle once a day or when dishwasher is full. It's annoying when the sim puts a cup in the dishwasher then washes a couple of plates in the sink because the dishwasher is already being used. Also, with the tea sets , why we need to wash each and every cup individually? They stack plates and other dirty dishes, why not tea cups?

I think the sink is also used for cooking, but with a double sink dishes then could build up in one side of the sink and wash the produce in the other would be a good update consideration also. And your idea of starting the dishwasher once it's entirely full is good idea to include, Housekeeping/Tidy would be a decent game pack like the vaccums being introduced in one of the game packs or just an update would enhance the game play of things.
