Townie Gameplay and Updates

I feel like forever ago during the pandemic there had been public acknowledgement from sim guru's about doing a townie update implementing new features and fleshing out townies stories more. I think base game townies could really all use a collective refresh in terms of LIVE MODE gameplay. While the new builds and updated appearances of  classic townies have been great in game, I think its time for the game to have updated in game relationships utilizing all of the features we now have to deepen their relationships.

I would love even if for some townies we could open up to them being in the middle of dramatic/cinematic moment like in sims 2 loading into Cassandras wedding. I honestly think simmers who love live mode gameplay are sometimes so under appreciated with base game updates other then new UI gameplay features. I would love for these new features to be implemented with at least the base game townies to show us simmers how we can make fun stories with them!

I also think they could even add a few more townies in the worlds or update and change them around at this point. Something fun to make pulling up a new save feel really fresh, and make simmers want to play with townie families again!
