I'm British too and any of us who grew up having to wear school uniforms, we know the most important thing about them is being able to put your own style on it a bit! When you're forced to wear the same thing as everyone else having your own identity show even a little bit is really important to teens. Plus the considerations of cultural needs like hijab. And yeah, it is really weird having every teen sim go to an american style high school, I have no idea what most of the things in the pack are inspired by. It's also bizarre having prom every single week! When I was in senior school we did have prom, but it was a one-time thing before graduation. Not a regular occurence. Maybe it's different in the US, but given how boring the proms are in the game, and the lack of bands, I just never use that feature because it's excessive being every week.
Yesss that’s why I like that there are differnt uniform style options so we can make it fit the sim.. but then they don’t even wear it to school so what’s the point
And yeah the whole school set up needs personalisation cause I made a British secondary school but it’s too Americanised . I need a maths class , an English class , geography etc each with different different teachers that you can choose what they look like. Why there only 2 teachers ?
They need to do a revamp or a secondary school pack as a part 2 to the EP series.
they should watch educating the east end and tough young teachers for research into what UK schools are like.
