630 Medina Studios Not Placing Correctly [CL]

I am unsure whether or not this is just me, but I tried placing a room from the gallery on lot 630 Medina Studios in San Myushino, but every lot I try to place does not allow me to place it in the correct boundries and instead tries to place it outside of the lot boundaries. I have no mods installed and also turned off cc. Does anyone else have this issue?

I've had that happen, just with the apartment across the hall.  I redid the lot in another save and when I went to install it in the new save, it wouldn't go.  Did exactly what you are describing.  So, to fix it, I went back to the original save and deleted everything along the wall that abutted up to the apartment next door. Just has to clear a strip along that wall 1 tile wide.  Then saved it and tried to install it again in the new save.  This time it went.  Once it was in, I replaced all the stuff I had deleted.  It's a pain but it worked for me, so I suggest you give it a try.  You should be able to place the room on a vacant lot somewhere, make the changes and then save it to your library as a room again.  Then try to place it again.

    Hope this helps.

  • Thanks for the idea! That worked for me, although it is quite annoying... As for the previous question, I tried to place six or seven gallery rooms down, and nothing would work, so I think it has to do with the lot itself and not the rooms.

@legendKeepers I'm glad that worked for you.  And you're probably right that it's something with the apartments rather than the rooms especially when you use the workaround to make an apartment a single room to save the entire thing rather than saving all the rooms separately.  Apartments have always been a little wonky so it's not really a surprise though.

    Enjoy your game!
