@ShePenguinAfter doing what @SheriGR said...
Step 1: Remove the mod.
Step 2: Edit the holiday "Harvestfest" and make sure the tradition "Holiday Gnomes" is in the list of selected traditions. If not, add it from the list "Choose New Traditions"
If you don't like the one of the traditions, remove it and add something else. "Streaking" is always fun!
Revamping all the holidays is always one of the first things I do. Rename "Harvestfest" to "Thanksgiving", Christmas, Valentine's day, I add new ones like add Halloween (Not sure why they left THAT out), "National Streaking Day", "Pride", Remove ones I don't...etc. It's your game, make it how you like.
- 6 years ago@Psychotps Super cool, I didn't even know that we could make our own holiday's! I'm still learning about all the features of this awesome game. I'm definitely going to add a Pride holiday! A "National Streaking Day" sounds fun too. 😉
Unfortunately this doesn't solve my Gnome problem though. ☹️ The Gnomes were still an active event for the holiday, and they're still missing.- PugLove8886 years agoHero (Retired)
@ShePenguin, since you tried what @SheriGR and @Psychotps suggested (good practice to do anyway, and now you also know you can edit holidays and make up your own) , you can try one more thing that usually works for me when the gnomes don't show up -- buy one (or more) gnomes and the holiday will activate (as long as you have it selected as one of the holiday activities)! :eahigh_file: Now, not only the gnome (or gnomes) you bought will play their game, but oftentimes it will trigger new ones to spawn , which is what you wanted! 🥳🧙
Please reply back and tell us how it goes! 😇
