YesDid this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I’m aware of the huge bug occurring for everyone where the actor does not go to their gigs. I have it too and I’ve been using the workaround of not having any loading screens until they finish the gig. However, now after coming back from a vacation in Granite Falls, my actor sim has another bug. He can’t seem to accept any gigs. He has the perk that lets him skip auditions as well. But no matter what gig I select, he won’t accept it. At first I could get some to work, but after canceling them and testing different gigs over and over, it seems to be broken entirely. I’ve tried resetting the sim, quitting the career and rejoining the career, and nothing seems to permanently fix it. Why is the actor career so broken?

This issue occurs for me regardless of which acting agency my Sim is signed up with. It also seems to occur with specific acting gigs more frequently (the history ones such as Tournament of Honor) but it does occur regardless of which gig you pick most of the time.

My actor is Global Superstar, level 10 everything, been going to gigs no problem until today. Can't select Tournament of honour, so had to select Captain Sigma instead. Read my MCC log file and can see there's a club error of some kind, though what is causing it is a mystery. Up to now not had a problem and my sims are winning awards every week. They did Sigma last week, so wanted them to do TOH this week for a change and of course a little more pay. *scratches head*

@Gednaa Could you upload the error log ?

@Gednaa Do you have ui cheat extension ? That's usually the culprit for ui mess ups if you use an outdated version.

@emrys_wyllt Did you remove the localthumbcache file after removing mods ?Could you test if the same happens if you start a new save for testing ?

Could you test if the same happens if you start a new save for testing ?

@crinrict I just did and it didn’t work. I did change to the G.R.A.N. agency though and it seemed to have worked? He accepted a gig. But I want to be able to use the other because it has better roles.

@crinrict @Ah, I may have figured it out. I switched back to Well Suited and same error. However, I think it may be by design because my sim is one skill level behind the gigs I was trying to sign him up for. When I try to the lower level ones, those seem to work. I’m gonna try to get him to the right skill level for the gig and see if that works!

Same here. Well Suited Agency won't allow me to accept any new gigs. Just shows up like I haven't accepted anything

I forgot to reply again, but the solution I said above worked for me! Make sure the specific skill is the level it specifies before you call for the gig. Good luck.

Did not cheat the skill level. He's been taking similar gigs for a while - managed to take the same gig from the GRAN agency
