Daisibell Have you tested with all mods and cc removed, or only a batch at a time? If not, please test with all mods/cc removed - just don't save while they're out (or you could use "save as" to create a separate test save).

I do see a Windows-specific note about CC that is not updated for Direct X 11 - do you have Sims 4 Studio to run a batch fix?

Daisibell- you mentioned that you had already tried different solutions, but that none of them had worked. Did those solutions include removing the .DS_Store files?

Those were what prevented my game from running when I switched from MacBook Air to PC for the same reasons as you.

In case you haven’t deleted them, you need to get rid of them all so check every folder. For me they were in the main Sims 4 folder, the saves folder, the recorded videos folder and the mods folder - and within the mods folder in pretty much every single subfolder as well.

If you’ve already deleted some of them, just check if there should be any remaining in some of the other folders. They all nede to go.

Hope you find a solution that works, because it’s so frustrating when you’re looking forward to playing and some technical issue is preventing you from doing so 🙂
