Are the urns of Dedeathified sims supposed to Disappear?
Are the urns of dead sims supposed to disappear when they are resurrected by using the dedeathify spell?
While I won't go into everything, the reason I ask is because in my game, Grim stops working at the point where the dead sim fades away and is replaced with an urn every time. At that point, the game hangs and I have to exit to the main menu. After a lot of trial and error trying to figure out what was causing the problem, I've reached the conclusion that it's the urns of dedeathified sims causing the problem because they are different from all of the other urns in my game in that they can't be destroyed in either live or build mode. So I think they are still connected somehow to the resurrected sim. At the moment, the only way the death cycle will complete and a new urn gets generated in my game is by drowning which uses a different animation.
The only thing I haven't tried is the nuclear option of moving the sims out and bulldozing the house and replacing it. That should get rid of the urn and break the connection but I am concerned that it might mess up the sims themselves if I do that. Going to try anyway in a copy of my save soon though.
I saw a post in the ROM bug section in an older post about necrocall and dedeathify where someone asked if the urns disappeared but I haven't seen a definitive answer as to whether they are supposed to or not. I posted my problem there several weeks ago but there have been no responses since.
So can someone please tell me if are they supposed to disappear or not?
