[BG] Business Career Task Greyed Out

Since my sim became level 9 in the business career, she no longer can complete the daily work task "call business partners" (located in the phone under "business"). I used to be able to complete this task between 0500-1700 on weekdays at other levels of this career. Since becoming level 9, no matter the day of the week, or time of day, I am unable to do this action as it is greyed out and states that none of my character's "business partners are at work currently." I suspect this is due to neighborhood stories making changes to other sims in the career and that possibly my sim has no other co-workers at this level or higher to call, but it is unclear. 

Game Version:  1.121.361.1020     EA launcher used

What I have done to fix: Reloaded game, reloaded from menu (found a 5 y/o post where this was the solution), took a day off to  call during work-hours.

Mods/CC: Clean save that has never used mods (new save after most recent update).

When fixed I expect to be able to call business partners within business hours.
