Broken game since august 19th update

After I updated the game and launched it I lost of my saved slots I had to delete the game to re gain access to my saves but when I installed it it only shows the start us screen and then it doesn't allow me to click on anything my mouse just keeps loading and I can't even exit the game and I have to force quit it please solve this issue
