Broken save file. Game failed to load, Error code

Hi, I am having trouble with a save I’ve had for over 2 years. I have removed my modsnfolder, updated the game and tried starting a new save. I can access the game with a new save but for some reason...

Hey thanks for your reply, i managed to recover an old save before it the update happened and it allowed me to play 🥳

What error code are you getting ?

@crinrict The error message said "The game failed to load. Error code: 123:[and then an alphanumeric code]. It is recommended you relaunch the game."

It happened to me when my sim travelled to another world. I could load my neighbours lot but not my played sim.
