Can’t access neighbourhoods

Hi there, playing on PS5. I can’t access neighbourhoods within the worlds like foundry cove, courtyard lane etc. also cannot have my sims travel to these locations. I select the neighbourhood and nothing happens, I’ve got a few expansion packs and I’m feeling like I’m missing out on a lot of gameplay because of this. - any ideas!!?

    are you clicking on a lot in those neighborhoods or on the icons for the neighborhoods ?

    You need to pick a lot to travel too. The icons are just informative.
