Can you start a new game with a pre-made family without going through CAS?

launch your game hit the big play button select the world you wish  to play from the hood map select a household to start playing for eample select  oasis springs then select roomies houshold then hit the play button there  with only thing is they may not have the traits one wishes to have

Edit: I click play , and it loads my last saved game. But still I have the Sim I made in CAS in the neighborhood, so it's not a new game. (if that makes sense)

I did click new game and it takes me straight to CAS. I'm trying to see if there's an option to skip CAS or maybe close CAS and go straight to neighborhood.

Oops - I edit post at same time you replied. lol

Okay so I clicked "New Game" in main menu and it of course loads CAS, then I clicked cancel in CAS and it only gives me 2 options to Go to main menu or reset household. I clicks reset household but does nothing but switch to a random sim in CAS. I also looked in the options and no way to avoid CAS when making new game. Oh well😕mileyfrustrated: I guess you have no choice but to use CAS when making new game, instead of going straight to neighborhood.

I accept this as the answer, because I can just delete the sim I made in CAS if I don't want them roaming the neighborhood I suppose.

if your last saved game loaded then from the map select another houshold to play with again for example roomies hit play  then use the save as whatevername you wish so you know it's the roomies

I accept this as the answer, because I can just delete the sim I made in CAS if I don't want them roaming the neighborhood I suppose.  Also very smart idea to save as so I can always you this if I want to play with premade sims. I didn't think about that.

*hugs back*  so your all sorted now  🙂 and can skip the CAS  except IF you click on a house without occupants then you will have to CAS

some added info for you if in game and want to add sims from the gallery/library to a lot click on a lot -move in  household from gallery-select the sim or  household if more than one sim created then click on the sim/household to move in then click on the place household
