cannot build decks / foundations in sims 4

My foundation slider isn't even on my screen anymore... it disappeared.

Foundation slider is now in a different place. Put one terrace on the ground and you will see outline of wall when you click on this and on halfway up this wall there is placed slider. Raising the pointer to the top will raise the foundations.

What happened to my game was the height widget had fanished. However I figured out that if I placed a flat deck and pulled on the up arrows when I clicked on it it then created a foundation for the whole house. This worked for me I hope you can do it too.

It is now possible to have different foundations on different buildings on the same lot but not individual rooms. 

I just tried this in my game as I was having much difficulty in getting the foundations to rise or lower. I tried this in the bulldozed lot, another lot that I had not previously been on before, and a third which I had lowered the foundation previously. When you place a foundation and it appears flat (sad), just click on it with the moues. You will see the width sliders, but there will be a NEW slider that is vertical. Click and drag that up or down to the desired height. Happy simming!

Okay well I'm playing the Sims 4 and building me a house and I cant build no foundation. I mean the raise and lower slide is not there. I tried on a different computer and it still dosent work. 🤨

the sliders were changed.

You get up and down arrows now when clicking on a room.
