cannot build decks / foundations in sims 4
I installed the sims 4 and was used to be able to build decks, however after I bulldozed one of the lots I can no longer build decks. Please help!😕mileysad:

Please read the answers in this topic below. Foundation sliders are now in a different place and not as tools in building panel. If you will place the wall in the middle of the wall, you will see the arrows. I have been having the same issue, no foundation slider. I have just quit building. I also already submitted something about it. The response was they will look into it if enough people have the same issue. I hope it gets fixed.
There isn't a foundation slider anymore. They've made a new foundation tool as of November 2018.
You get up and down arrows now when clicking on a room. Like shown in the photo below. The foundation tool is outlined.
What I do is select a room to bring up the tool, highlight it, place the mouse pointer over it while holding the left mouse button down and drag it up.

If you are trying to build a raised deck with a foundation then you must build a room on the side of the house you want the deck on outside, then go to foundations, pick the one you want, then apply it to your outside room that's attached to your house. Next you will sledge hammer the walls to that extra out door room which will leave the foundation in place. Now, click on the foundation and all the arrows pointing sideways and up and down will appear after clicking foundation and there you go, you got a raised house and deck. Good luck.
