cant edit my sim in cas sims 4

i can edit the sliders on all my sims except for one sim. when i put my cursor on the sim it highlights the top or bottom half of the body, but i cant edit it with sliders. i can edit the head/face though. i tried to do cas.fulleditmode and repaired my game.
