Thanks for the reply! As much as I hate doing that, considering there is one mod I find very important... I suppose I could do a test run and just go back to a previous saved time... *Muses*
The second thing, does the radio that is playing have to be on in the house, or just in the same room as the Sim? As it goes, there is a radio that plays all the time in the living room, but it has never been a problem before. There is no TV in the house. I was thinking it was the pet, but I kept a close eye out and the pet was nowhere nearby.

The Radio must be in the same room In sims even loud music is blocked by walls and a door however flimsy.
Are there other sources of noise such as the wind chime?
Pets do not need to be in the same room. As soon as they get a whim to wake up sim the sim will get up and stand by the bed waiting for the pet to arrive and "wake" them. It does not happen like that every time though. Other annoying waiting for Sim situations include Child/wants to hug sim that is eating. Sim gets up plate in hand waiting for child to arrive gets the hug and can finally continue eating. The most annoying is as a Vampire coming home from work Toddler climbs down stairs to greet sim that stands in the sun burning to death. For that reason if I play Vampires toddlers are immediately aged up to child.
