Hi, my sim just graduated with a distinguished degree with honors in econ so I wanted her to become an investor (business career). However, she was only given a boost in the education career. Is there any way to change it?

If your Sim is already working in the Business career she might need to quit her job first in order to get the Investor job.
A distinguished degree with honors should be level 8 for all the career branches it applies to.
