Cars and not the animated ones

@Mis_Meik01 , sadly no.  Year ago the Sim Gurus stated that the game engine in The Sims 4 does not allow for an open world, which is what it would take to eliminate most of the loading screens. And without an open world there isn't much use for cars, though we could get the type of cars that they had in The Sims 2 (which was more closed-world than TS4 is!  🤨 😅 ) where there are cars that you can get into, drive off your lot and then after a loading screen arrive at your destination with an animation of getting out of the car.  You could also listen to the radio and woohoo in TS2 cars, as well as get an old beat-up car and fix it up to use yourself or to sell for a nice profit! 😎  So, if we ever get cars in TS4, it would have to be like those in TS2, so we would still have loading screens.  

The Sim Gurus have also stated that the reason TS4 does not have an open world is because many people didn't have good enough computers to support an open world with The Sims 3, causing a lot of lag, stoppages, and even game crashes.  I experienced all of those with TS3, so much so that after a few years my game was pretty much unplayable. 😭  However not everyone had these problems.  

Fortunately, loading screens the loading screens are short!  Much shorter than my wait for TS3 to stop lagging ! 🥳 If there is going to ever be a The Sims 5, and if it were to have an open world, I really hope it doesn't grind to a halt like TS3 always did for a lot of people! 🤞

I wish we can get vehicles back.

All these Ubers, Lyfts, and Taxi's are not it.

I miss being able to walk outside, jump in the car, and drive to where I need to go.

Traveling takes forever.

Driving was fun and fast.

Since there is no open world to drive around in cars do not make sense. The load time for an area would be the same.

To the sim gurus, please add more cars to The Sims 4 for December because the players need them. Thank You.

@jpkarlse See people always say that, but how hard would it have been to just make them load screen activators... Same as phone or clicking on a lot... Then all they need to do is give incentive to use it such as a relaxing drive buff/confidence  buff after load screen(or depending on how nice the car is/what kind)... Any number of things could've been done than just completely removing cars. Not being able to make drive ways connected to streets or proper garage still irritates me lol. I don't personally care about seeing my car driving on the street, but completely removing any car interaction is just bruh... What I do right now is essentially use the T.o.o.l mod to place cars off lot. So that I can just pretend I've got car parked outside my house(crick cabana) which is better than nothing. Tend to use lorysims cars(sculptures) fyi, but debug cars work too.

You mean more toy cars? I can't really see a need for that.

We need functioning cars for Sims so that they can get to different worlds.

@SimmerCarl92 The devs said a while ago that this can't happen as it's not an open world so travelling by car isn't possible unfortunately. Maybe it will be added when Sims 5 is out (Project Rene).

But just purely for info only you could take a look at the advice on this older thread on how to add more decorative cars to your game whether on PC or Console. At the end of this old thread there are some really helpful tips if you want to add some cars on your drives/garages/car parks.

I do miss my cars from Sims Bustin Out and Sims 3 in particular but for now I just add them to my builds by resizing model cars. It can get a bit samey so I wouldn't mind a batch of new ones.
