I just tested this again with an older save that I hadn't loaded in a couple of months. My Sim was already wearing the charged jewelry, and I tried traveling to a few different lots and then went home.
The jewelry stayed equipped. However, I then took it off while on a public lot and equipped different pieces. When I traveled to a different lot wearing the new pieces, it vanished again and starting glitching out when I tried to put on different earrings.
What's also strange is that sometimes it will show my Sim wearing the jewelry, but if you look in her inventory, it shows that it's unequipped and none of the perks are actively working.
Very frustrating and totally ruins the pack, which I love and use constantly. ☹️
