I'm having a weird issue. My giant stuffed animal is on the top floor. The toybox is on the ground floor. My Sim won't even play with the toys in the toybox! She'll take one out, hold it for a moment or so, and then put it back in the box.
can you try putting the toybox somewhere else. I would make sure they are both on the same floor.
