I just wanted to raise concern about pc users getting free content. They are also able to get free cc. As I console user, this feels highly unfair. I feel we should also get free access to that same content. The free packs should be part of any platform. I'm not concerned about cc. I am specifically talking about content pc users get that console players have to pay for. Furthermore, I believe this is why so many people are saying they don't want to play anymore bc EA is being unfair. I just wanted to bring this topic up as I believe this a huge issue at this time. I love the Sims. I've been playing since sims 1. I just want equal treatment.
@merrie2580 I was concerned about this too but after discussion on another thread I learned that the media release for the Epic free content was misleading. It started with the words "The Sims 4 is making three packs free..." as if it was the Sims 4 making the content free. It's really badly worded, perhaps to get more interest. It actually just caused a bit of a kerfuffle!
But it turns out it's just like any other retail promotion. I've received many free games this way, in fact I just got a free digital version of the latest Forza this week. So that seems fair enough to me.
But in the current situation we face with our controls broken since patch 1.69 and feelings about not being able to bundle on console they unwittingly hit a nerve with console players with the wording used.
