Cooking keeps canceling

After the latest update (Legacy & Royalty) my sims keep canceling what they are cooking. I do use a couple of mods but even without them I have the issue. When I try to get them to resume cooking the only option on the cuttingboard is to "Clean up"...  Seems like only one dish is affected. Sim is maxed out in cooking skill but it does not help. No NAPs are active. 
I use MCCC, WW and UI Cheats extender. All are updated after L&R update.

    I'm having the same problem, except I can get them to continue cooking I just have to keep sending them back to what they were cooking as it's like they just keep getting distracted.

    CGrant56​ Thanks for the tip! Sadly it does not help. I have tried this and the same sim can cook other meals in the same kitchen even without removing the cuttingboard from the cancelled meal. So I know there is nothing in the oven.

    MammaKG​ Check the oven.  If there is something in it, you will get a Resume option on the stove.  If you were cooking when you last saved, sims will lose the connection to the stove and meal being cooked most of the time.
