@hellcrasher6969, in your first posts you said "mystery patch", but in the ones you posted later you said "mystery pack". I am guessing you still mean "patch" , but if I'm wrong, please tell me! ๐
I did see one video by Simmer Erin and I would hardly call the upcoming patch a mystery in that it is certainly expected since EA always releases a patch before any pack release. The only mystery is what the patch includes, but would be a mystery for every patch, not just this one! ๐
I do think that it is very likely that the base game could get onsies that aren't knitted in the patch, since they do that kind of thing all the time --- just like I mentioned how the patch before Eco Lifestyle included ladders because Eco Lifestyle had ladders. So, if you didn't buy Eco Lifestyle you still get at least one ladder in the patch, but you get an extra one if you buy Eco Lifestyle. So, I wouldn't really call this a mystery. I kind of expect is and would be surprised if they didn't do it. ๐คจ But I could be wrong.๐ I guess to me, the word "mystery" implies something that has more impact. ๐ณ
Supposedly a lot of people think this could also mean that we are getting enhanced babies in this patch as well, but I seriously doubt it because of the Tweet Sim Guru Ninja tweeted about how the patch would have some small surprises, but that they aren't a big deal.๐
Apparently, many people also think we might get some technological or science items because he said he was "nerd-ily excited" about them. But that could also mean that he is just really excited about whatever the surprises are. The only small nerdy things I could imagine in the game that wouldn't be a huge deal would be smaller telescopes and microscopes because those would be really useful but since we have very large ones in the game already, it wouldn't really add any new gameplay, and therefore wouldn't be a huge deal! However, I don't think that makes much sense with this pack, so if EA were to add those, I think it would be in another pack in the future. ๐
We will know soon about this patch, either way! ๐ ๐

I don't know for sure if consoles are getting the patch at the same time as computers, but I would think so since the last pack to be released had both console and computer versions be released on the same day. ๐คIt saying that kniffy knitting going to be add at the same time but it could of been worded wrong usely we get it after pc

@hellcrasher6969, yes, console players usually get patches and packs after computer players do; however, with the Eco Lifestyle patch and pack console players and computer players got the patch and pack at the same time, so I am guessing that this is how they will be doing things from now on!๐ But I could be wrong in my guess.

@hellcrasher6969, yes, I would like a werewolf pack as well. But I'm glad werewolves werent' included in the Vampires pack because that meant that Vampires are much more detailed in both design and gameplay! ๐ And if they do release a Werewolf pack then it will be as detaield as the Vampires and Spellcasters (from Realm of Magic) are! ๐
I also played TS1, TS2 , TS3, and now TS4! But TS2 & TS3 on consoles was very different from how they were on the computer! TS4 is unique in that they are the same game. TS1 was almost the same but had a few differences.They left hint in the game about warewolves you find a a werewolf statue wolfbind it a plant of some sort but no warewolves people making apocalypse clothes but we dont have that in sim 4 you have to wonder what's comming next for sim 4 but ps4 can't use mods unless they added to the game itself like for you can use mods
I wish we would get a pack that we could own apartment and clubs one of the other pack in one of the other sim games you could own a vacation house but I guess they didn't create sim 4 like other game I played every sim game they made from sim city to sim cast away busting out urban and ts1 ts2 ts3 ts 4 even free play and mobile I had every pack for ts1 ts 2 ts3 ts 4 I put a lot of money to completely finish the games
I even played all their Nfs I been a ea fan for years
@hellcrasher6969, I don't' think the wolfsbane plant was meant to be a hint at werewolves, since it has been many years since the Vampires pack came out and there has been nothing else about werewolves from the developers since then. Wolfsbane would be used for Vampires as defense anyway, as it would ward off wolves in folklore.
I do not know what you mean about apocalypse clothes. Do you mean that you want the game to get a pack that has an apocalypse theme with appropriate clothes to match?๐ค Or do you mean the clothing from Eco Lifestyle? That isn't really about the apocalypse as it is more about being eco friendly, comfortable, and being crafty. If you mean some other clothing , please tell me!๐
As for Mods and CC, I don't use them. I used to with TS2 and TS3, but it was too much upkeep and caused a lot of problems. ๐ I used to have a lot of CC and the more you have the more difficult it is to do maintenance on it, which you have to do! So unless you are the type of person who is good at keeping up with all of that, then Mods and CC are more trouble than they are worth! ๐คจ Many people don't realize that when ever EA patches the game, your mods and CC can become outdated and broken and you have to search for all the outdated items and then go back to where you got the CC/Mods from and get new versions that work with the latest game update! ๐คจ If you just have a few it is not bad, but if you have a lot it can be extremely tedious! ๐Edit to add... we might be getting hotels and a new vacation pack since it was listed as a possibility in a poll.๐ฅณ But nothing is official yet!
