EA please let us choose to disable the sentiments

Please EA, give us an option to turn off the sentiments in the game. I am tired of having angry and sad Sims for days because one Sim was tense and took it out on another Sim. It's been 7 Sim days and every time those two Sims are around each other, they get the angry "sentiment" and it disrupts the household. I had to break up two Sims who were engaged because for days they got angry at each other because the "sentiment" system thought one Sim cheated on the other. The cheating never happened. I also have a toddler who was scolded by his mom and now every time he is around her he gets and angry moodlet. Worse still, he gets a sad moodlet just being around anyone who is a friend of his mom because he feels betrayed. So please let there be a way to disable sentiments.

  • @Gednaa  I don't understand how you can lose progress?

    There's no down vote button, is it a glitch instead?

    Did you get an extra star? (in which case you would lose percentage, usually about 7%, because then you're working to your next star)

    Edit::

    I've looked at your profile. You earned the level up badge yesterday. So you dropped percentage but you gained a star - this is how it is supposed to work. No one can take progress off you.

    @Coley666 Aah, I see! I thought I was being demoted for talking about the dreaded issue that I shall not name! Thank you for this great info. I'll delete my damming post and hope all will run smoothly here for the future. 🙂
  • My apologies if this is considered necroposting, since the last post was over a year ago.  I just wanted to renew this conversation.  I will gladly start a new thread if needed.  We have been given the option to disable almost everything but sentiments and I have no idea why.  Please, pretty please with sugar on top, give us the option to disable sentiments.  Thank you for your time and consideration! :-)

    This is probably a vote for what @JonaO703 said, but...

    I use UI Cheats to remove them with reckless abandon if they annoy me. The usual culprit is "Friendly Advice," which leads to my children spending their entire childhood energized when I need them to be inspired, playful, focused, etc., for their childhood aspirations. Like, it's cute and all, but it's also overpowering and my kids get it autonomously by asking their parents for advice!
