Endless Loading screen when loading family

During the latest EA sale I purchased and downloaded Life and Death DLC for my Sims 4 game.  After it was fully downloaded I opened my recent save only to be met with a constant loading screen and if I was able to load into the family, I wouldn't save or switch lots.  In this save my Sims had an alien child that requires the Get to Work pack.  After some trial and error, I was able to load into all my other saves without a problem, I could save, play and exit without an issue.  To further test my theory it was the Get to Work pack creating an issue with Life and Death I disabled both packs and all my saves then worked without an issue.  I'm not exactly sure what is causing the issues within the packs but it apparently has to do with aliens.
