Error codes + Brindleton PawHospital says incomplete; forces me to relaunch game

below i have attached screenshots that show the error codes and the BE report of the vet clinic from Brindleton Bay. It keeps saying it is incomplete but in build mode, everything is there. I also soon get an error code (1st image). My sim is stuck at the vet clinic with her dog, unable to go home. I have dated my mods (even adult mod) and checked pathways to my mods folder. I have no idea what is causing this issue. Also, before this, I kept getting a MCCC report and BE report concerning drama nodes but I have no idea what is causing that either. Any advice and help is deeply appriecated! I do have DLC installed (3rd image).

  • The error code screenshot is not appearing. Could you please post another screenshot of it? It will help with working out the issue.
Also, if you haven’t already done this,  it would be good to try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

  • HI Nichinix

unfortunately that pic is a bit small to read.

    Please try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
      Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
    • Close the game
    • Copy the save game with the error from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to the new Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
    • Start your save game
    • Check if you still have the error.
    • If you do, go back to your documents folder, and check if any new LastException files were created. If you do, open them with a text editor and copy/paste the content here.
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

I'm sorry for my late reply and the picture!! I thought it was in there but it is attached in this reply! Also just recently, I actually found the source of the problem - the resource.cfg file was old. Also I did remove my mods and still had the same issue afterwards so I believe it was the file I mentioned earlier. I also did delete the localthumb file everytime I reopened the game.

Update a few hours later of writing this comment: I actually found out that it was my resource.cfg file that was old and I think I kept accidentally removing the new ones that would load in. Everything is working fine now! Thank you for responding!

Sorry about the pic! It was the wrong one but I found the issue, LOL! It was because the resource.cfg (?) file was an old one. Thank you for responding with the tips!
