Event or new expansion pack crash?

Hi,

I am currently trying to finish “Zew natury” event, but the quest to craft a chair to dining room is impossible to finish. No matter how many times I try to use the given carpenter’s table I cannot craft no furniture. The Sim starts to make it, but when it’s suppose to come done it never appears nor is event seeing that (even though sometimes I got a message that this object was crafted better than normally bla bla). It’s not a problem with lack of space, cause I tried to craft any furniture on fully empty plot and it also didn’t work. No matter if I debug the Sim, the table, change the save, restart the game, restart the computer, delete cache, reinstall the whole game and make a new family - I still have that issue. Other problem is that when I tried to fulfil the new aspiration (Fairy expansion pack) and gather food by clicking on grass I was gathering various stuff, but aspiration never acknowledged it. No matter how much food I found in the way game wanted me to, it still didn’t count. 

It’s really irritating, as I just bought the expansion pack and not only I can’t really have fun with it, but also can’t get items from the event.
