It sounds like you may have the Free Love NAP active. You may want to repeal that one change it to something else to save Agnes' sanity and prevent any more Sims from being whacked 😆

It's odd though, I always thought that if it was the N.A.P that the Sims would all be in a flirty mood. But the majority of sims are not, which is why I wasn't entirely sure it was a N.A.P.

Well, it'll be a few sim days before voting is open again, currently its a Thursday. My sim may or may not open the shop until Monday comes around. 🤷🏼‍♀️😭😣

Looks like I don't need to wait until Monday to start the repeal process. 😂

But I am wondering if the fact that the shop not residing in same neighborhood as where my sims place of residence resides is going to pose an issue with actually repealing it? 🤔

So far the option for asking a sim to sign the petition to repeal is non-existent with any of the sims my sim has talked to. And they don't stick around long enough to get a higher friendship level. 🙆🏻‍♀️

You don't have to wait until the weekend and collect signatures if you don't want to.  There is an option to instantly repeal NAPs.  Just shift-click on a mailbox in that zone.  I'm not sure atm if you have to testing cheats on - I had it active at the time I checked so you might have to turn it on first, then Shift-click the mailbox.  In your case, go to a household in zone where your shop is and click on their mailbox to reset any NAPs you don't like in that zone.  It won't work from your home lot unless it's in the same zone.  There is also an option to enact NAPs as well so you can set whatever NAPs you want active in a zone.

I was thinking, initially, that the option to repeal wouldn't be available until the following Monday, but then suddenly it was made available on Saturday.

 But sadly, after my sim temporarily moved in with her cousin(who I keep forgetting about), she tried for the repeal getting a total of 2 votes, only Monday snuck up too soon and the voting closed way too quickly. She struggled to find enough other sims to ask. 

I had to resort to the cheat to repeal it. I stumbled on it yesterday but since my sim was still in the wrong neighborhood at that time I wasn't able to use it right away, and then I promptly forgot about the cheat. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks for the reminder. 😂
