Fan Meet & Greet Event Vamp Issue Still a Thing?

Is not being able to host a Fan Meet & Greet is a thing for Vampires? 

Trying to have my 4 star celeb, Ophelia Specter, plan one of those for her World-Famous Celebrity aspiration, but she's currently both a Vamp and a Ghost. (The poor girl was only a vamp for 2days  before getting struck by lightning twice, in a row.) If I need to cure her vampirism first, to be able to do the event, I will, but I was hoping to let her be 'ambrosia-fied' for awhile before then curing her of her plasma fruit thirst. (Yup, she's a vegan vamp.)

    I don't know but I do have a suggestion you can use to find out for yourself.

    Load your game (or Start New Game) but choose a different household to play. A household with only one Sim is probably best. Use cheats, if necessary, to turn the Sim into a vampire and gain enough celebrity to host a meet and greet. Then, give it a try. You can Exit to the Main Menu, without saving, once you find out whether it works and resume your game with Ophelia. 

    The cheats that I think you will need. 
    testingCheats on 
    traits.equip_trait trait_OccultVampire 
    shift-click on Sim and choose Pack Cheats, Expansion Packs, Get Famous, Public Image, Increase Celebrity Level to make your Sim a celebrity and reach the necessary level. I think you need level 2, Rising Star, to host a Meet and Greet.
