Feedback about the Resume Button after Patch 1.87.40/1.58

The Sims 4 updated the main menu screen and I was wondering if there is a way to revert the resume game button to it's previous setup. When I click resume game, it takes me straight into a household instead of into the world I was last playing in, which I really dislike. It irks me a lot for some reason. Also, how do I get that bug eyed Sim off my screen? It scares me.

I love playing the Sims but this resume game thing is bothersome! I have never posted on a forum so hopefully I covered everything.

Hey there @01osa,

There isn't a way to revert to a previous version of the game, but instead of clicking Resume Game on the main menu, you can click the Load Game button, select your current save that you're playing on, and that will take you to the World View instead of directly into the last household you were playing with.

The house might still be in your tray/library. If you open a save, choose "place lot from library" and see if it's there. :crossing fingers: Or you can just open the gallery/your library on the main screen and look there...

The Resume button loads the last household you played. It sounds to me like you were building and was confused that it didn't take you to world view. If so you could have gone to worldview from the loaded household or by using the Load game button. Unfortunately it seems that this was the only savegame you had so when you deleted it your only option was to start a new game. I hope that the house you were working on was saved to your library.
