Fishing with fairies?

Ever since we installed the Enchanted Living expansion pack, I can barely fish anywhere, although one of the things it wants me to do, is just that. Most bodies of water I was previously able to fish at with a normie sim, now appear to be dry with my fairy sim. it also tells me to stock the pond with fish, and put up a 'fishing allowed' sign. This is not in my personal lot- it is in almost any public place. So, I did what it told me to do, but nothing- it told me to do the same thing again. Please fix this bug!!

    Are you having the same issue when fishing with a sim that isn’t a fairy? Being a fairy shouldn’t cause issues with fishing. 
    If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
    If you still have issues, try resetting your sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue remains.
