gallery corrupted/broken

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I have ran into a wall with research of my issue. Since the update I have ran into issues with my gallery, it has Red X’s on everything and when I go to click on something it says the item is corrupted or something like that. These are things I have done:
-Took my mods out of the folder
- Took my tray item out since I have downloaded sims to be added to gallery
- created an old folder for the sims and opened the game for a new folder
- Repaired the game via EA App
- installed the game again
- repaired my Mac in first aid
- Updated all script mods that I could find in my Mods folder

I play on a MacBook Pro and I have yet to discover a resolution 

Anyone know how to fix this or what’s the issue? I’ve tried everything I could but it still keeps showing the red X, when loading in the gallery. I tried removing all my mods, that didn’t work. I tried deleting my tray folder, and that didn’t work either. I just got a Hard Drive (500GB) for my laptop, for the amount of storage the sims takes up. I think I’ve installed it correctly cause I haven’t had any issues, except with the gallery not loading. Please help me!! I would very much appreciate it!!

I've been having this problem for over a month now but every time I enter the gallery all the households and lots appear with a big red X over the screen and every time I click on one gallery it says the item is corrupted before asking if I wish to remove it. When I select to remove it the screen tells me it cannot. I have updated all my mods and checked for any conflicts and I've even removed my mods entirely, the problems remains meaning it is not a problem with my mods but the game itself. I have deleted the 'localthumb cache' multiple times and tried moving my tray folder but nothing works. I have Norton 360 on my laptop and cannot find anything that would be stopping me from using the gallery. If anyone had some advice that would be much appreciated. I didn't mind it at first but now its becoming more of a problem. I've spent the last few days on forums following advice but nothing seems to be working.

Hi there. The in-game gallery absolutely will not work, all online creations show red X's (my library is completely fine). I can take screenshots and videos just fine and I have the correct version installed. My only currently installed anti-virus is Windows Defender and Windows Security. I have triple checked that they're not blocking the game. I have no CC/mods currently in the game. I have done literally everything I found on here: I updated my pc, restarted my pc, repaired the game, factory reset the game, cleared every cache and tray, restarted my wifi router to double check connection, reinstalled the EA desktop app, and clean booted my pc. Whenever I click on one of the crossed out items it says "item corrupted, would you like to delete it?" I am so lost on what to do and this is so frustrating. I am not very tech savvy and am worried that I'm either overlooking smth obvious or messed something up that's causing this

Hey @Chump0Chomp , usually this issue is linked to the AntiVirus blocking the user folder. Have you made sure everything is correct while looking at this guide?

I just looked and I only have localthumbcache file, so I'm guessing that I did remove the localthumbcache.package file. 

I have the controlled folder access turned off. Would that make any difference from having it on and with exceptions for the sims?

My community gallery tab has been showing all icons as red X's and when I click on them it says "Item is corrupted. Would you like to remove it?". I have tried pretty much every method under the sun, from removing mods and tray files, deleting cache files and I even factory reset my entire laptop. Its getting really annoying as I rely heavily on the gallery to play the game. I don't think this is a graphics card or antivirus issue as I have been playing on this laptop for years and have never had any issues like this one. Any help would be really appreciated as I am at my wit's end with this ☹️

hello so when i open the gallery in the sims 4 it shows that everything is corrupted and like every thing has a red x on it i have tried repairing the game through the EA app but it did't fix it. what do i do?
