Glitch with Try for Baby and WooHoo

Today is the first day playing the Sims4 that I had trouble with Try for Baby or WooHoo. I read many help articles and suggestions. Repaired the game, restarted the game, reset the individual Sims, tried different beds and locations. Nothing. The action looks like it'll take place, then stops. The relationship meter goes up, but the action doesn't occur. Might be worth mentioning that I downloaded Lovestruck recently, but I've played for about 2 weeks before this happened. Help!
