green lady introduction missing

So I originally completed most of the week 3 goals but when I reopened the game my progress had reset completely. Now when I interact with the book the regular read option is there but the read introduction option is not. I've tried interacting with sims of various levels in the relevant skills but no dice. My mods are disabled and I've run a repair on the game. Has anyone else had/solved this issue?
