[GTW] Sims stands still at work at the hospital

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Join the sim at work at the hospital
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim suddenly stops moving. The actions don't clear and start piling up, but the game reacts as if the actions are being done even though the sim is just standing still. The work progress bar doesn't progress and the objectives don't clear.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my sim moving around, doing the actions. I expect the actions to clear from the queue once they're done. I expect objectives to clear and the progress bar to progress when objectives are met.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I don't know if this is a bug that's been around or if it started after the latest patch, but I couldn't find anything about it and I have never done the medical career before now. I'm not sure how else to explain it except that the sim does things like checking temperature and analyzing samples, but they are just standing in one spot the whole time and the actions get piled up and don't clear even if the actions get done without him moving or if I try to X them out.
