Guests in Lagoon Look won't leave

I have a sim family who lives at Lagoon Look in Island Living. Whenever I have sims come over, whether they ask to come over or I invite them over, they do not leave, and there is not an option for me to ask them to leave. This also happens when groups of sims come over, like in "Extra Food" or "Kava Party". If there is a group, all the group members except for one leaves. It is random which sim in the group stays behind. The only way I have found to get this lurking sim to leave is to form a group with them, go to a different location, disband the group, and then have my sim go back home. This only seems to happen on this particular lot, as I have other saves where this does not happen. It is not specific to Kava parties, but rather anytime someone comes to visit.

    @nittany_madssince this only occurs on this lot, there is a chance that the lot or the house is glitched.  You can try a few things:


    1) you can try moving the family to another lot on the island.  If the problem doesn't happen on the new lot/house, then you can try moving back in to see if the old lot/house reset what was causing the problem.

    2) If you move back and the problem still occurs, you can try to replace the house, in case the problem was that particular house and not the lot.

    3) If you move your family out to another lot/house on the island, you can try to test the old house/lot with another family , in order to see if your original family was somehow causing the problem. (Though this is more of a long shot, as it is most likely the house or the lot that is the problem. 

    I have had parties get stuck like this occasionally on the island, but I don't remember which lots/houses this happened in.☹️  I can try to test Lagoon Look if you like, but if you are using any housing not made by Maxis that came with the game, (such as a house you made or one you downloaded from the Gallery) then my test might not have the same results you are getting since I wouldn't be playing the same house as you are. 😇
