Hate-kissing?

@KushKylie Can I clarify a few things?

• Do you use Mods or CC in your game?
• You mentioned using a cheat to adjust the romance bar on one of them. Have you used cheats for adjustments on any of the other ones that are having this issue?

@SheriGR I’m on console, so no mods or CC. 

I didn’t use a cheat on Vlad and the ghost.

I should probably also note that all other romantic interactions after the kiss failed both ways.

In Colton’s case, he passionately kissed his ex- so I decided to help them flirt, and she rejected him. She tried to flirt a little while later, Colton rejected her.  

In Vlad’s case- I didn’t want them to flirt, but I wanted them to Vampire Spar- apparently only friendly sims can do that, so the ghost rejected him. 

In either case- the passionate kiss was way out of context, and neither couple seemed interested in persuing it. 

@KushKylie Thank you for clarifying. I have just looked over reported bugs for console here and don't see this as a reported issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Consoles/Where-to-report-bugs/m-p/6441548#M529 So... I would recommend that you please post a bug report to see if others 'me too' the issue (in other words, to confirm if others are also experiencing the issue) and to pass on relevant details of your situation, what packs you have and other information that EA would need to determine if it is a bug or to perhaps make recommendations to you if they think it is not, etc.: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs

@KushKylie A fellow helper mentioned another thread the you posted about a sim who "completed the serial romantic". https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Information/Serial-Romantic/td-p/7791691 By any chance is there an overlap in the sims with the passionate kissing issue? Do any or all of them "completed the serial romantic" as you mentioned in this post?

@SheriGR no one had the aspiration at that point. I didn’t find that cheat until yesterday. I’ve been trying to wrap my head around what was different about those two situations, but I can’t think of anything except that those two were my first ever romances turned bad. 

Theres another ex one of my sims hasn’t come into contact with yet- I’ll get them together and see what happens. 

@KushKylie I was just informed by another helper that if sims were in a romantic relationship at one time then in the future they will often greet each other with a romantic kiss even if they don't like each other much (!).  So... that sounds like your issue, correct? I guess it may explain it after all! 

It could definitely be a possibility. So does that mean it would only happen with former loves? Because I’ve never seen it between current lovers.
