Is there some way to fix or otherwise remove the "Haunting" events from the For Rent expansion? When it occurs my sim is confronts the ghost but...it doesn't satisfy the event. so i click on the floating object and there is no option to exorcise the ghost. Am I missing something here or is the game just broken..again..?

dacidragon6669 did you update your game? the last update fixed the events although turning them off still doesn't work.
I just encountered this issue for the first time. No mods/cc.

I've only got the base game and various packs installed, including For Rent.
I have the exact same issue - and no mods either, for that matter. Very frustrating.
