Help! Game Progress not saving! :(

Hey! idk if anyones had this issue before, but I've been playing my Sims in bloom save for a while and i saved my game last night and exited the game, i wen't into my save this morning and all my progress from my last playing session has gone, for example, my child grew up into a teenager, and I had madeover my sims. However, when I went onto the game today, all of those changes/progress have not been saved it seems? my teenager was back to a child, adn the makeovers were not there. I have removed some of my mods and I'm still having these issues. I've also tried to 'Save As' instead of just saving, but it still appears to not have worked 😦
