Hidden Mess!

My sims are forever uncomfortable in the upstairs living room because of trash somewhere. I imagine it’s a pile of pet fur. The place is so cluttered, rugs all over the floors... how do I find this seemingly invisible mess without completely deconstructing my house? Is there a trick to zapping everything into household inventory so I can see what trash goes there as well? The Butler doesn’t seem to find it either, same with the automatic vacuum.

Im partially blind, so finding this mess is made a little bit more complicated!

@PugLove888  This is strange. I’ve never had this issue before with putting foul fish in a tank inside the home.

The vampire squid is foul, it there’s no trash moodlet reaction. I put perch and tuna in there, which were also foul, and the trash moodlet pops up.

I took them out and left the foul vampire squid in the tank, and the trash moodlet vanished again.

You’re right- it must have happened after an update at some point, because this kind of reaction has only just started happening since I posted this thread.

I never put them in the fridge.

It would have been hours hours they were in my inventory. I spent at least two days and a night fishing for angel fish.

All fish are listed as foul. All fish have been in one sims inventory. But only the vampire squid seems to get away with being foul.

Like I said- this is absolutely the first time for me with this. I’ve been putting foul fish in tanks since I figured out you could do it weeks ago, cause I was bored of the generic fish you purchase for the tank.

@KushKylie, thanks for replying again! ❤️  I don't remember if you play with CC or Mods? 🤔  If you don't, then the only logical reason I can come up with is that it was changed in a patch.

Strange that only some of the fish has the trash moodlet affect 😮 -- unless you have to have a certain number of foul fish before the moodlet appears? 🤔

I’m on console, so no mods or CC.

You’re right though- more than one fish triggers the trash moodlet, no matter which fish it is.

I put a perch with the squid- trash.

I put in two perches- trash.

I put in one perch- no trash.

    One squid- no trash.

It’d be nice to have input on this- whether or not it’s an actual patch or a bug.

@KushKylie, I can ask some of my fellow helpers here and see if they know , or at least if they noticed it too! 🙂  They might not know anything more than we do, but its worth a try! 😇  I'll have to get back to you on that when I find out what they know (or don't know! 😃 )  And thanks for testing the fish for me... I guess for now you can just put them in separate fish bowls in separate rooms! 😉

@KushKylie, I talked to one of the Heroes here at AHQ (Crinrict),  and they said that has always been a problem in the game, but they think it might only be with the big fish tank and not the little ones. 🤨  Crinrict is usually the person who works on the Bug Report section and often looks into the game regarding various bugs.  But Crinrict didn't give me the link so you can add your information to the list, perhaps because a lot of people already have reported it. 🤔  Since it might not be a problem with the small fish bowls and tanks, you could try to put fish in them and then try to have 2 or more next to each other and see if you still get that moodlet or not.🤔  If you still get the moodlet, then just put the fishbowls in different rooms! 😉

    Happy Simming! 🥳
