Hired services not arriving as expected - help!

I'm having an issue with the maid not showing up. The police also did not show up when I called during a burglary.  Pizza did arrive though during my initial start of the game when it has you go thr...

Vigilos​ Are you using mods/cc ? They do not come on the weekend but should then show up again on Monday.

Thank you, crinrict​. I do have some mods, but nothing that I think would interfere with the hired services, and I haven't changed the max character count for my lot. I ended up giving up on the core game hired services and instead installed a mod for live-in services. That has been working well so far.
