bb.showliveeditobjects false doesn´t work. And I don´t have currently betterbuild to fix it.
Any suggestions as far as what to do? I don´t want to go into setting files of the game or anything. This game is fragile as it is already.

You mentioned uninstalling and reinstalling. Have you tried a game repair? It's just a thought. I've learned over time that I need to repair the game after patching. Don't ask me why, but it seems to help my game.

I just turned off the mods and it keeps hapening.

Dan_0nino_0 Save and quit, then restart the game. That cheat will reset to default which is off. A lot of the other cheats will too. Only a few won't reset to off when you do that.

Try going back to manage worlds, then re enter the household and see if that works.
