How do I turn off live objects?

bb.showliveeditobjects false doesn´t work. And I don´t have currently betterbuild to fix it. Any suggestions as far as what to do? I don´t want to go into setting files of the game or anything. ...

    I uninstalled and re-installed the sims 4 game. Now it´s fixed.
